This is a heavy-duty professional-grade tool that can make 4 inch clean holes in most challenging materials such as cinder blocks, concrete, brick, etc.  The shank is 3/8 inch standard, so you can use your standard hand drill. The depth of cut is 2 inches. You can use this tool dry but we recommend using water for better results.

Here is how you can keep the 4 inch diamond hole saw on target.

a- You can make your own guide out of plywood – plastic or even cardboard. All you need is to keep the drill bit in place until it makes the initial marks.

b- You can start drilling at an angle, with the edge of the drill bit making a C slot and then getting the drill bit up to vertical.

c- You can manually guide the drill bit with a wet sponge.
